
Governor Andrew Cuomo says a third New Yorker has died of the COVID-19 disease, again downstate. The victim was 79 and had multiple major underlying health issues.
There are now more than 700 confirmed cases in New York, giving the Empire State the highest number of confirmed cases in any state. Cuomo says 80 percent of the state’s ICU beds are currently occupied.
