Three suspects in the University of Rochester kidnapping case have now agreed to plead guilty for reduced sentences…and four more suspects are considering if they’ll take their chances in a trial instead.
Samantha Hughes has agreed to plead guilty to a kidnapping charge in return for no more than 15 years in prison.
Assistant District Attorney Christine Callanan says it will be a long trial if the remaining suspects decide against a plea deal. They’d be tried together.
