Three men have been charged by Geneva police in connection with a violent home invasion robbery in which $75,000 worth of drugs were stolen. The victim of the Monday night crime was kidapped, severely beaten and burned with heated knives.
Arrested were 18-year-old Malik Weems of Pittsburg, 25-year-old Eddie Marte of New York City and 62-year-old Thomas Ferraro of Geneva. All face various charges including kidnapping, burglary and robbery.
Police say the victim was held at gunpoint, beaten with cords and belts, kicked and punched, and tortured with a heated knife blade.
The suspects were taken into custody after two traffic stops which recovered heroin, crystal meth and two handguns.
