A second defendant has been sentenced in the 5LINX Enterprises case. Federal prosecutors say 45-year-old Jeb Tyler of Rochester will serve 14 months in prison after being found guilty of wire fraud and filing a false tax return.
Tyler was also ordered to pay more than $2.7 million in restitution.
5LINX was a multi-level marketing company started by Tyler along with Craig Jerabeck and Jason Guck. The defendants were accused of appropriating funds that should have been paid to company investors.
Jerabeck has also been sentenced to 14 months in prison. Guck is awaiting sentencing.
