Governor Cuomo has set April 28th as the date of a special election to fill the empty 27th Congressional District seat, left vacant by the resignation of Republican Chris Collins. The seat stretches from Niagara through Livingston Counties, including a part of western Monroe.
A van driver was rescued with the Jaws of Life after a crash on Westfall Road trapped him inside the delivery van. The crash Monday afternoon sent the driver to the hospital with injuries to both legs. His condition and name have not been released.
