Rochester police responding to reports of gunfire found the body of a 26-year-old Rochester woman on the city’s northeast side Thursday night. Police say the found the woman at about 7:30, inside a home in the 200 block of 4th Street. They say Shaniece Taylor died of an apparent gunshot wound. The investigation is continuing.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man found dead this week along Route 96 in Phelps as a Cleveland man.
