The Ontario County Humane Society and Sheriff’s Office have seized two dogs that were left without food or water when their owner went to jail. They charged 48-year-old Amy Tunison of Manchester with failure to care for the Pomeranian and miniature poodle that were left at a home on State Street in the village.
A 35-year-old Rochester man was seriously injured Sunday afternoon in a shooting on Magnolia Street. The Southwest Rochester incident happened on Magnolia Street, but police say the victim drove himself to Maxwell Avenue, where they found him. The victim is in critical condition. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call 911.
