Two Rochester men have been charged with attempted robbery and assault after a 52-year-old Rochester man was assaulted and stabbed Tuesday afternoon. Twenty-one-year-old Raphael Hall and 24-year-old Curels Walker-Thompson were charged after the attempted robbery. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
A man was killed while crossing Buffalo Road in Gates on Tuesday night when he was struck by two cars. Gates Police say it happened about 5:45 p.m. at Buffalo and Wegman Roads. Both drivers stayed at the scene and people stopped and administered CPR to the victim, who died later at the hospital.
