A federal bankruptcy court has approved the reorganization plan filed by Tops Friendly Markets, and the chain plans to emerge soon from Chapter 11 protection. Tops CEO Frank Curci says the grocery chain has significantly reduced its debt, created a viable cost structure and downsized its number of stores.
