Gasoline prices have been dropping for the past month, both nationally and across the Rochester region. The national average is now $2.85, down a nickel from last week. Rochester Police are investigating a pair of hit-and-run crashes on Sunday. One took place at 3:30 Sunday afternoon at Culver Road and Westchester Avenue when a sedan rear-ended an SUV. A 28-year-old Rochester man was taken to Rochester General Hospital Sunday afternoon after he was stabbed at North Clinton Avenue and Sullivan Street. Rochester Police say the man was stabbed in the upper body and is expected to recover. The circumstances behind his injury are under investigation.
