An 18-year-old Rochester man is recovering at Strong Memorial Hospital after he was shot Wednesday afternoon near the corner of East Main and Sidney Streets. Police say the victim was hit in the lower body as he walked in front of 1532 East Main. Their investigation is ongoing.
