Rochester Police say the case of a man’s body found Monday morning on Newell Alley near Scio Street is now a homicide investigation. Police have identified the dead man as 33-year-old Christopher Smith of Rochester. He had suffered injuries which they haven’t specified. The investigation continues.
Brighton Police have charged a 28-year-old Brighton man as the driver who struck a Rochester woman on South Clinton Avenue late Friday night in a hit-and-run accident.
