The pedestrian struck and killed on Monroe Avenue in Rochester early Friday morning has been identified by police as 55-year-old Robert Hayflinger of Rochester. They’re still looking for the hit-and-run driver who struck and killed Hayflinger near 490 Expressway ramps at about 2:45 Friday morning. Police have interviewed witnesses but say there’s no arrest yet.

Rochester Police are investigating after a 19-year-old Rochester man was shot at 395 Hague Street. Police say it happened about 6:00 Sunday evening. The victim was hit in the lower body and taken to Strong Memorial Hospital where he’s in stable condition and expected to recover.
