A 21-year-old Rochester man was shot and wounded last night outside of 5 Lapey Place in Rochester. Police say Denzell Stevenson went to the Emergency Department at Strong on his own looking for help. He’s expected to recover from a shot in the lower body. That investigation is continuing.
A 43-year-old Rochester man walked up to a Rural Metro Ambulance crew on Saratoga Street last night seeking help after being stabbed. Police say Theodore Auld was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment. They say the stabbing happened in Jones Park and they’re still investigating.
Monroe County Legislature Democrats aren’t impressed with County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo’s plan to avoid a future ISquare scandal in the county’s industrial development agency.
