Police LightsRochester Police say two people are recovering after they were shot on the west side early this morning.

Gunshots were heard near Thurston Road and Brooks Avenue shortly before 2:00 a.m. Police saw several cars leaving the area, but didn’t find any evidence of a shooting.

Then a 911 call reported a 38-year-old Rochester man with a gunshot wound at a house on Chili Avenue. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital.

Soon after, they found a 45-year-old Rochester woman on Lexington Avenue who had also been shot. She was likewise taken to the hospital.

Police continue to investigate and say they have no suspects at this time.
