Two members of the family struck by an SUV on Empire Boulevard Saturday night have been released from the hospital; a 22-year-old woman and a three-year-old boy.
Webster Police say a 15-year-old girl remains in guarded condition at Strong Memorial Hospital. A 41-year-old woman was killed in the accident. The Monroe County Medical Examiner has not yet identified her and is withholding her name until that time.
All are members of the same family and were struck by a Toyota RAV 4 as they walked along Empire Boulevard. The driver left the scene, but was later located by police who seized the Toyota as evidence. Charges have not been filed so far, but the investigation continues. Police say they are working with the District Attorney’s office.
