A Honeoye Falls man was charged with endangering the welfare of a child over the weekend after Ontario County deputies found a one-year-old in the back of a car with the windows closed and the engine off.
They charged 34-year-old Jeremy Palmer, who had left the child while he went into a store.
In Seneca County, deputies charged a Hudson Valley woman with endangering the welfare of a child and driving without a license after they found she had left a small child in her car while going into a business in Junius.
Erika Santiago of Kingston was being held on bail.
