Wayne County Sheriff Barry Virts says his deputies are investigating the homicide of a 17-year-old Sodus High School student, who according to the “Times of Wayne County” was killed by her 19-year-old boyfriend.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim as Alyssa Taft, a senior at Sodus High School. Investigators say she was found dead at a home on Boyd Road.
They’ve arrested David Knight-Hollis on a charge of second degree murder.
The “Times” says Knight-Hollis called called 911 and told them “I just killed my girlfriend.”
A briefing is scheduled for this afternoon.
