Governor Kathy Hochul says there are now 12 confirmed cases of the Omicron Variant in New York State, as reported by the New York State Department of Health.
Two of the new cases are on Long Island, but two are in Oneida County, meaning the variant has reached Central New York.
Hochul again pleaded with New Yorkers who haven’t been immunized to get their shots. She says it’s the best way to protect friends and family this holiday.
