A 10th woman has come forward to accuse Governor Andrew Cuomo of misconduct.
Sherry Vill of Greece said in a news conference that the governor came to her house during the 2017 Lake Ontario flooding to personally inspect the damage to her family’s property. Vill says when she walked into the house, Governor Cuomo took her hand, pulled her to him and kissed her on the cheek. She says the then kissed her other cheek in what she considered “a highly sexual manner.” She says he then said “that’s what Italians do, kiss both cheeks.” Vill says she felt shock and embarassment.
Vill then says the governor lagged behind as his staff began to leave, told her she was beautiful, took her hand and asked if there was anything else she wanted. She says he then grabbed her face between both hands and kissed her cheek. She says she felt she was being manhandled.
Vil’s attorney, Gloria Allred, says it was very disturbing to her client, who has been married for 30 years. She says her client did not come forward until now because of fear of retaliation.
Vill released a photo, taken from video of one of the kisses that was taken by her son. Allred says Vill will reach out to the State Attorney General’s Office, which is investigating allegations from other women against the governor.
