State Police rescued more than 100 puppies after a van transporting them to Southern Tier pet stores overturned on I-86 in Avoca.

Troopers say the Missouri woman driving the box van lost control due to unsafe speed  for the weather conditions and went off the shoulder before rolling into the ditch. A tow truck driver and three troopers rescued the driver and the dogs. Five puppies were hurt and treated at the Steuben County SPCA.

Everybody is fine.
