One man is dead and two others are fighting for their lives after three separate shooting incidents overnight in the City of Rochester.
Police say they were called shortly after midnight early Friday morning to Bernard Street for reports of gunfire. They determined shots had been fired, and that a man arrived shortly after at Rochester General Hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
Less than an hour later, police sent to North Clinton Avenue near Avenue D for a report of a man shot inside a convenience store. Police found the victim at the scene and he was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital and went directly into surgery.
The third incident came about an hour after that, when police were called to the corer of Stanley and Violetta streets for a man shot. They found the victim outside. He was taken to Strong and was also being treated for a life-threatening injury.
There are no suspects in any of the shootings so far.
